The Language of Shapes

Shapes speak before language does. Forms create tension we feel in the body before we can name it — visceral for some, spiritual for others. Yet it is undeniable that simple lines can move us in ways we cannot easily explain, or name. Certain shapes stop me in my body — a jolt, a tremor, something closer to electricity than thought.
